Top Sales Magazine first published in 2011 and we have endeavoured to continually not only maintain the high quality of the content – and indeed the design – but to improve, month on month. It is now the most popular and relevant sales magazine available, jampacked with great articles, features and advice from the world’s leading sales experts and commentators.
Here are all the guidelines you will need prior to considering making a submission.
Front Cover Interview
We will discuss your precise requirements with you to fully understand the message you are hoping to convey. Then we will create the questions and send through to you.
The rules regarding the image are very specific:
- The final cover size is 2550 x 3300 pixels at 300dpi (the actual photo itself should be bigger than this as it will be cropped).
- Please allow for enough background to the right and left of subject and crucially above the head to allow space for the masthead. More is better than less.
- Arms should not be cropped out.
- The subject needs to photographed face on and at least from the knees/upper thighs upwards.
- The subject needs to be photographed against a plain colored background. Please avoid pastel shades or garish background colors and instead use darker colors such as black, grey, dark blue, dark reds, dark greens and so on.
- Please supply 3 photographs each with a different colored background.

Articles & Advertorials
Articles need to be either 900 or 450 words maximum and should be submitted as a Word .doc.
NB: If your article contains numbered or bullet point lists or multiple sub heads etc., your word count needs to be less than 900 or 450. Your bio at the end of your article also needs to be included within the word count.
Articles should be submitted by the 15th of the previous month i.e. an article for the February issue needs to submit by January 15th, etc.
- Each article needs a short introductory paragraph.
- The main body text should not begin with a sub head.
- No screen grabs, graphics or tables are permitted within the article.
- No links are permitted within the article itself.
- Please add your name, job title and company to the end of your article and supply one link.
There will be a Pdf proof of the magazine to enable you to check your article. Please either mark up any corrections on the Pdf you receive or indicate what and where corrections are needed in an email. Please do not correct your Word doc and send that back instead.

Artwork
To be supplied as either:
- High quality print PDF or 300 dpi RGB Jpg. No trim marks on either.
- If supplied as a PDF, please add your links to it but if supplied as a Jpg, please state in an email, what the links are and where they should be positioned.
